At Beta Theta Pi, you are not just a member of a club. You are working side-by-side with people who know you well. In this process, your brothers learn what type of person you are, what you are good at and how you contribute to the group. In the real world, this knowledge gives rise to countless benefits. For example, when you graduate, you may be interested in a job in say… Marketing. If you had played an integral role in recruitment and event advertising at Beta, both your undergraduate brothers and the alumni are going to remember you as an effective marketer. They will line up to help you.

Networking should not be your number one reason for joining Beta. Rather, it is something that arises naturally from friendship and experience. There is an old adage at Beta that says “What you put in is what you get out…only tenfold”.
