Betas are students just like you, so we focus most of our efforts on succeeding academically.

But being a Beta is so much more than going to class, the library, then home. To start off with, we have a beautiful home away from home located steps from the U of T campus. Many of our members live there (the house accommodates over 20 members) but others simply use the house as home base in between classes, in the evening to study, or as a social gathering place.

Beta Theta Pi holds many events including “mixers” with sororities, community service outings, road trips to other chapters in Canada and the US, alumni events where we get to know some of Toronto’s most prominent businessmen, parties, home improvement weekends, nights out at the bar/club, end-of-year “formals” and all kinds of other special events. Your life is truly enriched when you become a Beta.

Above all, Betas are committed to friendship. It is through mutual assistance and confidence in one another that we have built a long-standing history of success at U of T and worldwide.
